Delicious food from Gus's BBQ including: BBQ Burger Sliders, Smothered Hot Wings, Mac n' Cheese, BBQ Chopped Salad, Cobb Salad, Sauteed Green Beans, Deviled Eggs, and more! Plus wine and soft drinks.

This year our epic mobile cocktail party moves to Fairfield Circle. We’ll mosey from house to house, enjoying wine and appetizers, ending with coffee and dessert. A great opportunity to get to know your neighbors and see three beautiful homes.

OKNA Members: $35/person

Come to our neighborhood Fall Family Brunch with pancakes, bagels, croissant breakfast sandwiches filled with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese and bacon, goat cheese and spinach frittatas, build-your-own yogurt parfaits, desserts courtesy of the Langham Huntington Hotel, juice, mimosas and more. Kids can play and run around on the enormous lawn at the Scheidemantle home. They will also love to visit the “reptile booth of fun”. There will be a variety of small animals likes snakes, frogs, lizards, and tortoises placed on tables for you to touch and hold. The bravest of guests will have the chance to come inside the reptile booth to get up close to the jumbo animals possibly the 10 ft. python “Fluffy” or the 3 ft. Argentinian lizard “Fred!”

This year our epic mobile cocktail party moves to Oak Knoll Circle! We’ll mosey from house to house enjoying wine and appetizers, ending with coffee and dessert. We will start at 855 Oak Knoll Circle for cheese, crackers, and prosecco. Walk across to 830 Oak Knoll Circle for hot appetizers and wine. And then to 820 Oak Knoll Circle for desserts and coffee and tea. Wear comfortable shoes and enjoy this fun afternoon eating, talking, and walking with your neighbors.

Enjoy the festive season and cocktails and nibbles with your neighbors. We will be in the Tap Room of the Langham Huntington Hotel on Thursday, December 13. The Oak Knoll Neighborhood Annual Fall Picnic - A Fun Afternoon for Everyone!

There will be plenty to eat with a selection of salads from Green Street Restaurant, broasted chicken, and a variety of pizzas and pastas to choose from. You will love the delicious desserts provided by the Langham Huntington Hotel. And enjoy sparkling wine, red wine, white wine, and soft drinks.

New this year, we are delighted to have Kidspace come with fun activities for our kids. A balloon artist will make silly hats and adorable animals for all. And we will have a visit from a sweet Pasadena Police Department dog, unless it is called on for duty.

Meet in the lobby of the Langham Huntington Hotel for a docent-led tour of the hotel. Then walk with neighbor Carol Chua to learn about the people and homes nearby.

This is a free event.

At The Langham Hotel, Pavilion Room

Join in on the fun at our second annual Spring Fling Progressive Party. We will begin at 1360 Hillcrest Avenue with sparkling wine, cheese, crackers and more. Then, move to 1334 Hillcrest Avenue for wine and hors d'oeuvres. Concluding with 1330 Hillcrest Avenue to nibble on sweets with coffee and tea and have a docent-led tour of this historic home.

Join renowned birder and Poly senior, Diego Blanco, for a bird walk. Take a short walk in our neighborhood to identify and learn about birds that visit and make their home right here. Coffee and bagels will be served. Bring binoculars if you have them.

This is a free event. 

Join us for an evening of cocktails, mingling and music at The Tap Room. Enjoy specialty cocktails created just for the Oak Knoll Neighborhood in our private section of the bar by the fireplace. The Lady Langham has Rain Vodka, fresh lime juice, grenadine and fresh mint. The Oak Knoll is made with Bombay Sapphire Gin, muddled fresh mint and lemon juice. Choose from either specialty cocktail for $10.00, red or white house wine for $8.00, or anything you like from the bar.

Come for cocktails and friendship and stay for the live jazz that begins at 8pm.

Come join the fun at our annual Oak Knoll Neighborhood Fall Picnic. You'll enjoy the Pie 'n Burger food truck featuring hamburgers, cheeseburgers and veggie burgers with all the fixings and thick cut French fries. Plus fresh fruit, Green Street salads, soft serve ice cream and special desserts courtesy of The Langham Huntington Hotel. There will be plenty of beer, wine, water and soft drinks. Enjoy live music performed by talented musician neighbors. Kids will love climbing onto a Pasadena Fire Department hook and ladder truck and spending some time at the arts and crafts table with the Armory Center for the Arts. We apologize that the Pasadena Police Department K-9 unit, previously mentioned, will not be able to attend.

Due to an illness - our Architectural Tour is being cancelled. We will reschedule the tour for a later date when Tim is feeling better. 

Tim Gregory, "The Building Biographer" of the Pasadena Historical Society will take us on architectural tour starting on Elliott and El Molino and continuing to Madison Avenue. Some highlights include houses where the "Father of The Bride" and "Madmen" were filmed. Tim will focus on architectural features, and interesting historical details about who built these amazing houses.

Refreshments, champagne, and cheese & crackers will be provided at the end of the tour.

We will start the evening at 1235 S. Oakland for prosecco, crudités, and cheese.

From there, we will then move onto 1245 S. Oakland for wine and light bites.

Then we will walk over to 1315 S. Oakland for coffee and desserts.

For the night's finale, we will move to 1385 S. Oakland for a house tour and trains!

We will learn about notable architectural and historical highlights. We will end the tour at our starting point, 820 Oak Knoll Circle, and relax and enjoy refreshments together.
